They are.

They're taken and posted by Michael "The Bandit Fan" Catena, who runs the Evil Empire Lacrosse website.

He can also be seen posting controversial, but usually well thought, out opinions on the wingszone message board.

IMO, he is one of the few amateur journalists that covers box lacrosse (OLA and NLL) and actually knows his arse from his elbow.

It looks like supposed to be one of the mini Wooly dolls - Wooly being the mascot of the Mammoth.

Not sure if it's the same one, but they sell them through the NLL Shop.
