I have been getting up Mon, Wed, and Fri every week and going to my local park and running around the track. And i have come to the conclusion that, RUNNING IS AS BORING AS IT GETS!!!! So i have this park about the size of a football field, for an hour, by myself. Do you guys know any drills I could do?
One more question, is an Athletic ladder like those 12 tires that you have to run through?

Alright, especially when they're done on a football field.

Do gassers or beasts, its where you run the width of the field (about 50yrds) 4 times without stopping at full speed. So you do up, back, up, back thats one. Give yourself a time limit, our limit for the team was 46 seconds by the end of the year but we ran it in 45 before. Also allow yourself a 45 second recovery time between sprints. Run them until you feel really bad and then wait for a couple minutes and then run suicides or 40 yard dashes.

in football we do an "MSU" (Michigan State University), 10-100yd sprints, 8-80 yd, 6-60, and 4-40s. we also do 300-yd shuttles, run up the field back and up again. we do that like 6 times after practice. MSU's are usually once a week.
woah sorry to bring this thread back...didnt realize it was so old. my bad.

Thats ok, its not that old, and maybe some people who haven't seen it could use it.

From time to time our school has to do "army" drills. They're pretty simple
You sprint the long distance of a field, and jog the shorts. After the first lap u do 10 pushups, after the second 9, then 8,7,6,etc until u hit 1. They kill O_O

Instead of running around a track, run around where you live. Explore your enviroment. It gives you more things to see and your muscles won't get stagnant from running on a flat surface all the time.
