Unnecessary Detention

So i am in biology class and this dude sneezed and for some reason a few kids in my class thought it was funny. So, i turn around and see this one girl cracking up and she looks really funny; then i started to laugh. I was turned around for maybe half a second or maybe a full second, so when i turned back around she was still talking about something like,"....which turns into AP-Alex go out in the hall-T..." So iwent out in the hall and chilled there til class was just about over and she comes out with a detention. I was like what's that for and so she said because i was talking while she was talking, and i calmy said back to her "no that's not right i dont think i was talking" so she took it away and said okay, and then proceded to change my detention from 1 hour to 2 hours saturday morning. I left it at that becasue i felt as though it would just get worse. But i am extremely furious. This is my first detention ever. What can i do about this? because i am not planning on letting this go. Thanks for any advice. Sorry for length

talk to your counselor. nothing will happen, but it she will know the whole story then. same thing happened to me and my counseler said "well, thanks for telling me, but there's nothing i can do. Suck it up and go"

ewwww, saturday detenton sounds bad. our school doesn't do that because no teachers want to come in on the week ends. I'd go to your parents, princeipal, or guidence counsilar

I once got a detention for not cleaning up someone elses trash. It sucks, but your just going to have to deal with it.

Go to your dean of students and get your parents involved and have them all talk to the teacher to get the detention vetoed(like a bill)

You can't really tell your parent cause whenever you get an unfair punishment most parents think your not really telling the whole story so my parents just say "Suck it up you WUSS!!!" or something like that. :whyme:

Does this teacher hate you? If she doesnt I would just go because she might try to fail you or somthing.
