well boys,
just heard on the radio after some 20 odd seasons in pro football doug flutie has retired from the NFL leaving his career off with new england...congrats to him tho...

Well, I really liked flutie, he was cute.
But he couldnt see over his linemen... i mena honestly... thats funny.

I honestly think that he could still function in this league. I remember seeing him get some time, and he can still move around pretty well.

I played against him in high school (he's one year older). He was awesome....especially on the run, of course. He was just as good as a DB and went to Boston College as a backup safety. Only one kid in my school thought he would make the NFL (I still owe him $10 on a bet...hope he doesn't want interest). We did beat him once (well...my team did...I was a sophomore and was on the field one play) when he was 7-2 and we were 2-7. His little brother, Darren (Darren had a better win-loss record in HS, too), actually killed us more than Doug did, but Doug is and was a great player and great person. He was also an awesome basketball and baseball player. Good thing his school didn't have a lax team, or he would have beaten us in lax, too.

that's pretty cool, good story to tell at partys and stuff liek that. I liked him very much as a qb

i actually think the NFL passed a resoultion saying that Doug Flutie must remain on a roster until death. He is prolific. I hope someone retires his number.

considering how he was so small and so many people said hed never be able to be a qb in the nfl i think hesa great inspiration to ppl
i would defiently put im in the hall of fame 4 yrs from now
