Phone Help

Well I woke up today and read a text message I got when I was sleeping. When I finished reading it and hit end nothing happened. I waited like 10 minutes to see if it would unfreeze but it stayed the same so I took the battery out and turned it back on. Now the phone won't get off the all white start up screen that says Verizon Wireless. Does anybody know how I can get it to unfreeze or has it happened to anybody else?

i dont know..im suprised taking the battery out didnt do anything.

reset it or take the sim card out?

It's an LG vx5200. I don't know if I can reset it and I don't think there's a sim card.

actually, this used to happen to my motorola v505 or something like that. my friend kept saying in an annoying voice "smack it, then smack it again" and i got so pissed off that i smacked it and smacked it again and ironically enough, the phone worked.

this happened to my nextel this morning. its my second nextel phone. i got it a week ago after my phone went through the dryer. and now its broken. im supposed to get a moto soon though
