ok heres the problem i have 3 staight shooting strings and a U and it is still throwin off the top any suggestions on how 2 fix this?
and they do get gradually tighter

ik all about nylons and everything...ive been stringin 4 about 3 months and a bunch of kids r already gettin me 2 string there sticks and i was wounderin y nylons get the whip out?

gradually tightening shooting strings is the key but if its still goin off the plastic either tie the shooting strings a lil tighter or add something like a nylon up top

or you could tighten your string on your scoop. it's very hard to tighten, so i just take it off and string it VERY tightly. it's a sure-fire way to get the ball to stop hitting the plastic.

restring the sidewalls

just throw a nylon shooting string up near the top. Tie it to the sidewalls, then tie it tightly, and gradually decrease the tightness of each sidewall under that, going with top one tight, bottom one loosest. THen it should be better.
