All i know is the panthers better do something... these last few years have been rough.... they go like 1-7... then go undefeated till the playoffs... I've had like 5 heart attacks in the last 2 seasons... its rough.

Cards with the best offense? Im going to have to call you out on that one. I mean, they really dont have a quarterback (Dont even start to tell me Leinhart is going to be a standout his first year) and James is an overrated back in my opinion. He isnt bad, but any back that plays with Manning is going to look good.
he doesnt need to be a standout, he has BOLDIN AND FITZGERALD!! look how they made warner and mccown (sp?) look last season. and i think james isnt amazing, but he is definatly one of the top 5 in the league. if they arent the #1 offense then who is?

I like you. We will certainly be #1 offense this year. We were the #1 passing offense last year, and got the best FA signing of the year.
dlo6215
05-16-2006, 11:52 PM
offense- colts, james will be replaced
defense- bears. until i see otherwise theyre the 1s to beat
best reg season- panthers/seahawks (i think panthers are better but seahawks have a bad division)
mvp- larry johnson rb KC
sb champ- panthers
TO- wont mess up again

I'm pretty sure that the Cleveland Browns will still suck this year. and the Steelers will probably own us, yet again. But there is a tiny shred of hope that the Browns can do something this year...

#1 Offense - St. Louis Rams
#1 Defense - Chicago Bears
Best Regular Season Record (Team) - Indianapolis Colts
Superbowl Winner - Denver
MVP (Season) - Carson Palmer
What TO will do for the Cowboys - Catch a lot of passes, get yards, score TD's, cause trouble. Maybe help them win a Wild Card berth.
Comments - The Saints will be the most improved team, but Reggie Bush won't do much.

#1 Offense Cardinals or Giants
#1 Defense- Falcons 100 percent (lawyer milloy, john abraham, keith brooking, pat kearny, deangelo hall, jimmy williams etc.)
Best record Giants
Superbowl winner- Giants
Mvp- Mike vick
T.O. will do amazing

05-18-2006, 11:10 PM
#1 offense- kansas city or the giants
#1 d-chicago or carolina
best record- giants
superbowl winner-giants
MVP- Larry Johnson
TO will not cause any problems and will have another TO like stat yr. in other words. he will keep his cool and rack up fantasy points

05-18-2006, 11:33 PM
#1 offence- Saints, Arizona, Steelers
#1 D- New York Giants or Chicago
best reg. season record (team)- Arizona (They have no one else in their division worth worrying about besides Seattle)
superbowl winner- Ugh, I'm gonna go ahead and say... Steelers
MVP (season)- Drew Brees! or Big Ben
what TO will do for the cowboys- Light up defenses, and keep his mouth shut. Parcells is a friggin' genius
any other comments-
obviously its way too early to start making any real predictions. Free agency isn't over and neither is the trade deadline (far from it). This year is definetly a big turnaround for many teams in the league and I truely believe that this season will be true to the fact that on Any Given Sunday anyone can beat anyone. I don't believe there will be a clear-cut best team like how Indy ran the league for most of the year last year.

#1 d-chicago or carolina
best record- giants
superbowl winner-giants
MVP- Larry Johnson

i picked the same mvp and defense, but idk about your nyc bias towards the giants. i am also a huge nyg fan, but i doubt they will have the #1 offense or win the SB. unless eli makes some great strides it cant be done. last year he showed signs of being great (see denver game last drive), but sometimes they won despite what manning did (see dallas game)

#1 offence- Giants
#1 D- Steelers
best reg. season record (team)- Denver/Seattle
superbowl winner- Steelers
MVP (season)- Tom Brady
what TO will do for the cowboys- cause 16 kinds of hell...if they dont make the playoffs (get it...16 games in a season)
any other comments- Bush will have an amazing year
ShermanLax607
05-19-2006, 02:24 PM
#1 offence- Hopefully the Giants, but the Cardinals will be up there, maybe with the Colts
#1 D- Da Bears... they had an amazing D last year and they didnt lose anyone and can only get better
best reg. season record (team)- I am thinking the Steelers or maybe the Bears.
superbowl winner- Giants! Realistically, doubt it-- so I'm calling on the Bears or Broncos. Reguardless, the Superbowl winners will be the team with the best clutch defense, and always reliable.
MVP (season)- I truthfully don't know, maybe Brian Urlacher or Kurt Warner
what TO will do for the cowboys- He will be kept under control by Parcells but will say or do atleast one stupid, idiotic thing
any other comments- Most Improved Team: Definitely the Eagles and Cardinals they will both make the playoffs this year..
Hopefully the Giants can improve this year with the new coach settling in and Eli Manning in his 3rd year, will finally mature. Tiki Barber will pass some of the load to the rest of the offense and if the Defense stay healthy then they should make it to the second round of the playoffs.

does anyone else notice most people are just throwing up their favorite teams?
#1 offense- cards but colts consistantly have a premier O
#1 D- bears, panthers, or bucs (unless their age really shows this year)
best reg. season record (team)- bears and seahawks, bears have easiest schedule and seahawks have the weakest division
superbowl winner- if still healthy by playoffs, panthers
MVP (season)- LT could be a possibility if he has to carry the team more bc brees isnt there, or peyton manning
what TO will do for the cowboys- draw attention, sell jerseys, fill seats, but only will not be able to carry the team to the playoffs like all his fans think
SAlax40
07-04-2006, 02:41 PM
best o-colts, cards will b close and so will seahawks but colts consistently have the #1 offense..with or without edge
best d-steelers, that defense didnt lose anyone and were one of the best last year and now will have to play even better if roethlisberger isnt ready to go week 1
best reg season record-colts..they mite have lost edge but they got now two good running backs(dominick rhodes and joseph addai)and they finally got rid of there bum kicker vanderjack and brought in adam vinateri possibly the best clutch kicker ever..so he will help them win those games in the last second that vanderjack couldnt(ex: pittsburg)
mvp-ladanian tomlinson-hes the best player in the game period, or TO because he will resurect the cowboys
what TO will do for cowboys- catch passes, score touchdowns, fill seats, get profit up,draw national attention, win games, win there division, and not make any mistakes. parcells is the only coach on earth that can control TO and by doing that the cowboys will finally be good again
superbowl-cowboys vs denver
superbowl champions-broncos

TO - Will have an off year.
To all of you who say the Cardinals will have this spectactular offense, tell me; Can you name me one 'great' offense that hasn't had a solid Offensive Line? I didn't think so. While the talent is there at the skill positions (even though I'm not sold on Warner, and Leinart is too young at the moment), they are lacking where it counts; In the trenches.

#1 Offense- Going to go out on a limb and say that the Arizona Cardinals will have an explosive offense. Should the line play improve slightly and and with the addition of James, all Warner or Leinhart will have to do is that 10 yard slant to Boldin or Fitzgerald who are two of the best post-catch recievers in the league, and will take it to the house.
#1 D- Baltimore Ravens. Why? Improved offense. The last few seasons in Baltimore it has been all mental, not talent. In 2003, last time they managed the playoffs and Ray Lewis was Defensive Player of the Year, the other Lewis, Jamal, ran into the record books with 2,000 yards. The addition of Steve McNair, along with a youthful secondary should provide with the Ravens enough to make the Ravens once again the most feared unit in football.
best reg. season record (team)- Indianapolis Colts. They have plenty of talent on both sides of the ball, play in a weak division and have now added one of the most clutch kickers ever in football. Look for this team to win a lot of games 24-21.
superbowl winner-Baltimore Ravens. Ray Lewis. Steve McNair. John Ogden. Trevor Pryce. Derrick Mason. Veteran leadership that pushes this incrediably talented roster to the super bowl. Great defense, just enough offense. Should be able to capture its division. Cleveland and Charlie Frye have growing pains. Cinci's defense is incrediably questionable in the front seven, not to mention Carson Palmer or the seemingly endless supply of criminals the team seems to keep drafting. And the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ben will not be at 100% by the team the season rolls around. Physically, he'll still be rebuilding muscle that he'll lose during rehabilitation. Mentally, only time will tell if this has taken a chunk out of his confidence. Randel El wasn't a huge loss, however the Santonio Holmes fellow will have to stay out of jail to make an impact in the passing game. And I'm really not afraid of Willie Parker or Deuce Staley in the running game.
MVP (season)- Jake Delhomme. Steve Smith + Keyshawn Johnson + DeAngelo Williams + Offensive Line + Great defense = MVP numbers for Delhomme. He'll use his arm to win enough close games, plus he'll find himself in the Superbowl, I imagine.
what TO will do for the cowboys- Season One T.O = 75 catches, 1,230 yards, 12 TDs. Season Two T.O = Drew Bledsoe is gay/tired in big game/but probably a completely new reason. Parcells retires. Dallas explodes.
any other comments-

Baltimore isn't ready to do anything in the division. It'll be Pittsburgh and Cinci battling it out for the AFCN crown again this year while Baltimore and the Browns look on.
Steve McNair isn't going to turn this team around from what they were last year.
Mason, McNair, Lewis, Pryce, and Ogden may provide veteran leadership, but if you look at the other side of the coin you'll see that the team is aging at the skill positions.
The Ravens were on a high a few years ago when Newsome looked like a genious after all the drafts and FA signings... they were a great team but have been on the downfall ever since the end of the season two years ago. It takes time to rebuild a team that gave up confidence on a franchise QB and invested their money on an aging has-been in Steve McNair. I admire McNair and all he did for the Titans but we have to remember that last year he was thinking about retirement because he didn't have it in him anymore.
You mention how the accident might set Ben back but how much did the jail time set Jamal Lewis bacK? What has Ray Lewis done ever since the middle of the Baltimore DL left? The Ravens are missing pieces of their team and they didn't fill in the gaps this offseason like they should.
One more thing about Ben. He will probably be back to 100% quicker than most people thing. He's been lifting weights for a week and he's allready throwing passes in camp. Also, his accident not being football related makes a big difference in his recovery (in a good way).

the eagles have no #2 WR material...they have 3 #3s
they have 4 #2s (reggie brown, jabar gaffney, todd pinkston, and greg lewis). ask the patriots how having a bunch of #2's works out
