that looks good. I think that might be one of those few movies where everybody's eyes are sweating a little at the end.

Wow, why are people comign out with movies about America's tragedies? I mean, I think people should know what happened, but not in a movie where they are paying actors millions or dollars, when most likely a very little or no amount of that money will go to the families and people that were devestated.
Now after the trailer, I am so, so glad that this movie is done right, and it shows respect to the true heros of our nation. It would be great if some of the procedes went to the families.
Looks like a great movies overall though

Quoted for emphasis.
That movie looks so cool. Nicholas Cage is the man. But, he can be a little bit nerdy for someparts (like Gone in 60 Seconds).

The making of this movie straight up pisses me off. At least wait longer to make it, as in 20 years or something. It's way too early to be making this movie.

I'm interested to here your arguement for this statement.
Nicholas Cage looks like Inspector Closeau in this movie. Just thought I'd point that out.

Gonna be a tearjerker for everyone. Just thinking about it makes me sad, I had two relatives die that day.

Definetly an understatement. I'm positive there won't be a dry eye in any theatre across America.

hopefully nick cage will pick this movie as one of the movies he actually acts well in.
I personally love how a lot of people were like "nooo, it's too early for a movie about 9/11" when flight 93 or whatever # it was came out but with this one everyone's fine. meh.

If it makes you feel better livin4lax09, I dont wanna see either. I'm consistent in thinking that 5 years is too soon for these movies to be released. It is one thing to acknowledge the past, however when the past is not in a time frame to be forgotten then why should we recreate the actions that are still remembered. The time to make these movies is not when they will make the most money, but when the memories of the two towers that almost defined the NYC skyline start to fade. That is when these movies should be made to help those who have yet to be born or those who are still extremely young understand that things happened in the past and this is to an extent a version of what occurred on 9/11 and it is why we will always remember that date.

I want to see this, it looks really well done. Now I was one of the people who said it was to early, but this looks good.
It also shows the bravery and courage of people that day, it isn't like some movie that is 'sugar coated' to improve it. I am seeing it right when it is in theaters.

It looks good, but since its such a sensitive topic, I'm not sure if a lot of people are going to want to go out and see it.

Maybe we should have a girl smiley so that when females post in a general or male forum, you guys will know we are female.
The movie looks to be beautifully executed. I couldn't get through the trailer without being moved to tears. Musical scores, facial expressions, things happening behind the actors etc. seem to move me more than the actors dialog itself. They always try to create these one liners, yet the fluidity and rawness in films can make the work speak for itself.
I too hope that money from the film will be used to assist all the those directly affected by the horrific event.
I will never forget that morning. I will never forget where I was, what I was doing, who I was talking to... That day is burned in my mind. I don't think the memories will ever fade for anyone who experienced it whether first hand, by television, or by computer. It has effected us all on different levels and in different ways. I don't think the memory of that day will ever fade.
The movie, documentaries, manuscripts etc. that are in exsistance and those that will follow, will be sources for our young people and future generations to learn from and to be touched by. It's never too early and it's never too late.
Speaking of musical scores, what scores really moved some of you?
Ladder 49
Perfect Storm
The Godfather Prt. I, II, and III... same score, same affect...
There are more I am sure...

I agree, ok I'll prove a point... Danjor, I didn't know you were a girl...lol. It does look good, but its a really sensitive topic, you think it'll cause controversy? I also will NEVER forget where I was and what I was doing that day. My mom actually brought me hom from school...Ladder 49's music moved me, I cried I admit. Good stuff Danjor!
