I believe that Peterborough would have to be the favourites to win the MSL in Ontario.
The Brookin Redmen play at Iroquois Park in Whitby, ON.

You're picking Brampton to be the one team that misses the playoffs? Even after they've been Ontario finalists for like the last 9 years in a row? Even with the fact that many of their Mann-Cup-Whore ringers are coming home this summer?
OK.

I don't think they've moved.
Probably still the Turtle Dome on the 'Sas rez.

I think the Redmen will sneak into the playoffs and win it all. They now have a secret weapon on their roster that not too many fans know about.
Lakers
Excelsiors
Chiefs
Redmen
Kodiaks
Indians
Of course I don't know how they are going to run the playoffs. Maybe the top two get a bye, the bottom 3 have a round robin where the top two of that play in a second round robin with the 3rd seed and then the top two of that play a best of seven series with the two bye teams and then the winners of those series play a one game final in Wallaceburg who, at the last minute, put in a secret bid to host the final when no one knew WTF was really happening.
Eh, just kidding eh? :naughty:

It's near Cornwall, so 4 hours-ish.
No idea where the arena is, never been to that Rez.
One thing - I've heard patrons of the Turtle Dome aren't always as friendly as those at Six Nations. Typical advice for visiting fans applies - be respectful, polite, and aware of your surroundings.

you get ohh on the majore off ramp for cornwall take that south till the round about, then take the massive bridge( you cant miss it) then pay your 3.50 at the toll and then once you get to the main road, the only road, take a left and aboput 3 minutes you'll see a big sign with a picture of the arena and take a left on that drive way thing pass the [pizza place and its a big building with a green rook, the reasons its called the tutrle dome is because from the brige it looks like a turtle.

Depends on which players show up for each team......early season games are a crapshoot.
One thing I do know - Brooklin looked pretty crappy in last week's game against 6-Nations.

I'm not sure about that.
I've heard (straight from him) that he hates playing on concrete......figure he's a Rattler again this summer.
Then again, he doesn't yet have a Mann Cup ring and might take a shot at it later in the season....you know, get in his four games and then show up for the playoffs.

It's officially amateur/semi-pro - the guys are only supposed to be paid for expenses (gas, meals, equipment, etc.)
Now, in the real world there's gas money, and then there's gas money.
If you're say Attacker no. 8 or defender no. 8, (i.e. role player only), you're probably getting like $30 or $50 to cover your gas and dinner.
I've heard guys like John Tavares use a lot more gas and are thus paid like $500 per game.

They play on Cornwall Island on the Reserve. The arena is A'NOWARA'KO:WA (or just Turtle Dome). We played there on the weekend. Its a nice arena. I know they still play there because they had signs for it and they had the Major sized nets (4X4'6). I was checkin em out.
And I saw on their wall of fame that the team was formerly called St. Regis Indians. So I guess they just wanna revert back to the original name.

NLL League max is ~$20K US, there are 16 games. Do the math.
Of course I'm told there is off-book money available for selected players
