hey i am 16 and a first year inter A player and i am playing Jr A tommorow night as a call up
anyone got some tips for me

Play like you always do. If you change how you play then you're not the man they called up.

yea thats true but what i wanted to know is like whats the rule on slashing and lil things that you can do to piss some one off
do the reffs let that go a little more in Jr that intermadate

Junior rules are slightly different than minor. I can't answer for you because I'm only familiar with Ontario's Jr. A league, and I've never even seen their rulebook.

As far as what they let go - that depends on the referees. There are a handful of nitpickers that will call every stupid little thing. There are a handful that just want to get home by 10:00 so they won't call a damned thing. Then there are the good ones, that call the dirty stuff, or the stuff that takes away a scoring chance, but otherwise let you guys sort it out on the floor.

I got called up to play for Ottawa Jr. A the other weekend cuz their stelar goalie broke his foot. Kind of ironic cuz the next week I broke my finger. But anyways, the pace was alot faster than Jr B, everyone was very skilled and could shoot, and their shots were deadly accurate. There were way less loose balls or mistakes made. More disciplined players and less bs.

I am with the Saints. I just happened to get called up to play for Ottawa for a weekend. We played Mississauga and Brampton

dont worry when you play up you will always do better because you dont want the older better people to think you suck
