It is very late for the ol' Formerlaxdemon. I had to work this morning so today was no real day off for me. I tried sleeping, but the sandman is being tardy so I opted to string instead. I remember some months back a member asked if anyone had strung a Double Triple Threat. So here is my Double Triple Threat in... you guessed it... a Profile. There are a great many Profiles appearing in the Forum this past week so here is mine.

I apologize for taking the pictures in my bathroom, but I thought it was the safest place to be from my cat. Sure enough, my cat followed me in and as you can see in the second picture is having a grand time attacking the extra string hanging from the pocket. Sorry for the low-quality of the pictures, but it is past one in the morning and I am finally sleepy. The cat did not help either. Enjoy the pocket!

I promise you all that the pocket is symmetrical, I simply couldn't hold the camera steady with so many things factoring into the shot.

Great Job! I've been wanting to try one of these for a while, and I think I'm going to take that Torpedo Pocket I did out, and put one of these in.

Yumm cats taste good with BBQ sauce  ... Did i just say(type) that out loud. Darn. But anyways, that looks really good. I also notice your butter knife has a serrated edge, and your head has a gait ball stop. Wow im cool. Nice job with the stringing, keep em coming :)

Haha, awesome gato. My cat always plays with the extra string too. He is retarded though, so its all good.

Almost forgot, sick looking pocket you got there.

Here's where you get the Ripley's Believe it or Not test. It took me under an hour and a half to string the head. That is not including time I took to look at a picture of the pocket in my Lacrosse Unlimited catalogue.

This is an unpinched Profile.

Yes I did, and while I think it is a great idea, I doubt that the powers-that-be would approve of it. Lacrosse is not the name of the game here I am sad to say. I will see what I can do. If nothing this year, perhaps in the future.

As for a tutorial. I will need to get another head to string and then I will do step-by-step instructions with accompanying pictures. It is not a difficuly pocket, but it takes patience. I have strung so many Rock-it Pockets lately that I just got sick of them and wanted to do something along the lines of original traditional stringing. So when I get another head to string, I will pop one in. I appreciate the feedback though.

This is one of the pockets I teach my stringers to make as well.

NICE, but why the nylon leather substitutes?

I like it. I may have to try one. PS...i know all about cats and string. They do indeed have a grand ol' time playing with your crosslace.
My cat is more excited when my jimalax order comes than i am.

They actually are a part of the pocket style and not something I chose to include. It works very well though. The Grunk pocket is a lot like this and you really don't need a four leather pocket to have a good traditional variant.

My cat jumps right into the box and won't get out. He is a LAX cat for sure. I definitely suggest stringing one. It is, for lack of a better word, responsive. It just feels right, if you know what I mean.
