Help with making pocket bigger[pics]

Or, i put a paint brush (Instead of a knife) in with a ball. This stretches the mesh supremely, and if done too much will make your stick illegal. However, it will give you a pocket in no time.

Bad idea, that will make the pocket throw off. He should just double up.

Yeah, double up on the sidewalls, and if you don't know how, get someoen to do it for you with brand new supplies, freshen it up

The old wet mesh, ball, butterknife trick.

Just don't loosen everything or the mesh will slide up and the ball won't come out until you have followed through into the ground.

whenever My pocket stays too shallow even on mesh I do the double ball and knife trick. Be carefull the answer will warp if you do that

No, double up on the diamonds towards the bottom.

yeah just double up on the holes, rock the ball and butter knife, wet it and pound it. all these things should deepen your pocket in a jiffy.

no...just the bottom holes. Take out like 3-4 holes and double up the diamonds.

You can wet the mesh on the area you want to make bigger or strech. The you take one of those baseball bat doughtnuts :love: and put it in the pockets facing you so you cant see the hole . It should be standing vertcally not horizontaly. Then you push on the weight with your hands and move it around to strech each part. Also you can leave it over night, but put a ball under the wight and let it sit. It worked great for me! You can even use a wiffle ball and push on that when its in the pocket, it gives the pocket a uniform strech:angry:.

It means that when you are stringing the sidewalls you go through two diamonds instead of the usual one bfore connecting it backk to the head.

Try looking through some of the mesh tutorials to find a style that fits your needs, then have at it.

Wouldn't doubling up on the sidewall make the pocket smaller? How does doubling up help me with my pocket getting bigger. If I double up then it brings the whole mesh up? I dunon if i am right, I need help with understangding this doubling up and how it helps

Doubling up is instead of put one diamond on a string you put two. The more diamonds you use the deeper it gets.

Can you give me a lesson? Would I take both sidestrings out, and then what would I do? Do you have any pics or are there any tuts on how to do this. I am so confused. Can soemone teach me how to do this?

This will telll you how to double up on the diamonds to get a bigger pocket.

This does require restringing so if you dont want to do that, my guess is just to either use the ball and knife trick( put the ball in the pocket, and then slide the knife between the pocket and the head so that the knife is pushing the ball into the pocket) or just get the mesh wet and pound teh crap at out of it

Well, the problem I have here, is that whenever I deepen my pocket, it pinches my head even more to the point to where I throw it, the ball deosnt come out. Look at it closely you can tell its warped (two eyars use) and I wanna get a profile. Anyway, I am just saying, the thing I am gonna do is the knife and ball trick.

Yea, but I have absolutely no experience on stringing a whole stick. I am just thinking of getting a new head, and working the pocket till it gets deep.

yeah.. use the Giant Mesh tutorial.. it'll solve all your problems.. it even clears up acne, helps with stomach aches, and leaves your hair shiny and manageable

all i do is run hot water under the mesh, slap the pocket screw in, screw it till illegal, leave it in a couple hours, then while the mesh is slightly wet, close to dry, i take the screw out and let it dry, and it makes my pocket deep and legal
