Sunday afternoon RP

After watching the pistons wonderfull win I was suddenly overcome with boredom. So I decided to Finish my rocket pocket. It is really low, wich makes me happy :love: . Any criticism? I didnt do a top coil because I didnt feel like it. Also I strung the channel found it was too short to complete the saddle so I just used an old piece of lace I found in between the couch cusions. I thought I did alright for my 2nd RP ever. Your thoughts please

EDIT- I know I knida did some of the knots wrong at the top but I am not one to fix it once I just spent and hour stringing it

Actually I hate them. I strung this for my messing around stick. Just cause it looks cool.

If you want it to be accurate to a real RP, you would need less twists/coils on teh sidewalls (like 5-6 on each side) to make it a RP, it looks like you have like 10.

Looks pretty good. You went back and forth many times in the saddle. Also, tighten the knots a little too.

also your missing the coil at the top. That looks espically thin for x-lace, is that Jima's new stuff? Nice overall job though...

I Just fixed that , Took out a couple of stitches. I always string my knots loose then tighten them in once its done breaking in.

study the pics of the center and notic like around the 4th cross it goes back and forth 2 times without knots. and the coil at the top keeps it off the lip. put some shooting string in too (3 nylons and one hockey lace)
