hey i am wondering - :wtf
how do the different types of mesh (trad., mega, mini, trakker, hard, soft, etc) affect the way the stick shoots, catches, and cradles? and information would be greatly appreciated concerning this - specifically for a Triton head.
thanks

They all affect it in different, myriad ways that would be hard to list. Do you have a specific comparison in mind? For the most part:
- The fewer the diamond count, the better the hold
- soft mesh has the worst hold but is very easy to learn with (yet holds no pocket)
- hard mesh is a decent first stringing and very good in bad weather
- trad needs a little continual adjusting but has good hold and is still the choice of many players
- trakker is crap
- trakker pro is pretty good
- all the copyrighted pockets or pockets you see on e-lax, etc perform in very certain ways based on what you want (Mesh-X: channeling; Revolving Doerr: sick hold with a d-pole in mind, etc).
Personally, I love my 6d better than any stringing I've used. Personal preference solely. YMMV.

i think its all stringing. bigger holes equal bigger mesh but besides that they're all about the same.

just so happens i was stringing up my friend's triton and i tried out everything: trad is pretty sweet but has NO whip whatsoever. six diamond is in their now; sweet hold, just need like 3/4 shooters to get a good balance of whip going.
