i did 3 strait, i also have done 2 and u and 1 and a u. it all depends on how you want your pocket to preform. ie more or less whip .

idk actually. i just like my strining the way it is. i can't really tell if it has whip or not cuz of the way i throw. w.e i'll just try a bunch of combinations. i've never strung 10d in general actualy. do u know how long i should cut my shooters for a u and for straight?

i doubled up on the top 3 sidewalls to get a high pocket. bad idea? i can't feel the ball leaving my pocket. it throws where i want it to but i can't feel the ball leaving

yeah, i think that when you put in more shooters, there tends to be less whip, i really like mine...

I always use allot of shooters (2 nylons and 3-4 straight weaved) in a soft mesh pocket, especially if some requests a hideous high pocket (I hate those).

i have dura mesh which is basically soft mesh afeter a month...i did 2 shooters and a U right under that...no whip...and if u want less whip be sure to tighen up them sidewall strings so your pocket doents move around

I did a rolled nylon at the top, then two rows under that a weaved hockey lace. I also did interlocking sidewalls.
