Dye Refresher Course

Please tell me if I am doing this right, asap. I boil water and put it in a tin or something that will fit my head. Then I add the RIT dye and stir it around. Then I put the head in and let it sit there until it is the color I want. Then I take it out. Now do I wash it off and let it dry, or just let it dry? Thanks!

i think the order is dye, dry w/ paper towel, cold water, paper towel, air dry

but it might be dye, cold water, paper towel, cold water, paper towel, air dry
