Mike Powell in SI

Just got my new issue of SI today. In Scorecard, SI featured a section on 5 people influential to their teams in their "NCAA Championships Preview". Mike Powell had an article for lacrosse. Looks pretty good. This is now 2 out of the last 3 issues that lax has been SI.

i think its only in the on campus version of SI, its not in the one i got yesterday.

What is an on campus version? I am not in college.

apparently they make a version of SI just for college kids.

what page is it on? i dont have anything like that in my most recent SI, came thurs, has horse racing on the cover

I know I don't have an oncampus version. Unless you do, it should be in there. There isn't a page number, but if you count from the last shown page number and don't count the ads, it would be page 28.

yeah i have that issue and i dont see him. For the faces in the crowd (?) there is a lacrosse player, but not mikey. That would have been the page youre talking about i believe

Smarty Jones (the horse) is on the cover. And the article is NOT in Faces of The Crowd, even though a lax player is in there.

yeah its def a regional thing cuz i live near chi-town and it aint in there. They have done region only stuf before so it ould just be that. I think they're just "testing the waters" for putting lax in their mag because they know the east coast is the biggest lacrosse region and they want to see if it works out their before they put it out nationally

Puzzling. It would be on page 28 not counting ads, or maybe 48. Maybe I have an error issue.
