Worst thing I have had is a sprained ankle, which is basically unreleated to any lacrosse damage, but it happened in a game lol...

Worst i have seen, probably some kids knee poppingout

Junior year during the JV game me and my friend were warming up the JV goalie. I thought we had all the balls in the net after everyone had gone to get the pregame pep talk. My friend had taken a full speed shot with his D-pole, it ricocheted off the cross bar right in to my eye. It was such a direct hit that I didn't even end up with a black eye, but my eye was dripping blood. I ended up going to the emergency room during the JV game and coming back just in time for the Varsity game.

Broke my arm and wrist last winter. Not lax related. I was lucky to play this season though, this is my last year of lax, I'm a senior.

I was watching some college game and i think he was on syracuse or somthin, i dunno but anyways. a player fell into this guys knee and broke it and when he got checked in the back you could see his leg wabbling like jello when he was falling to the ground. pretty sick if you ask me.:concerned

Yesterday, took a shot to the neck/jaw line right underneath the helmet line. I can't fully open my jaw yet, hurts but it's not as bad as breaking something.

I remember watching a Navy Syracuse game where a goalies shoulder popped out, he ran off field, they popped it back in and he was back on the field in about 2 minutes.

^That happens to me at least once a week.^

The worst injury I've seen in a game would probably be some kid from my team shot the ball and it hit a kid from the other team in the helmet and they had to take him off in an abulance(sp), they said he got a concussion.

The worst injury i've had would either be my shoulder getting dislocated all the time, or tearing three ligaments in my ankle and missing the season opener.

this season when we were playing charleston or ac flora our best d-man was running around the crease on his man when he got tripped and broke both bones in his arm. his arm was flopping all over the place and he just got up and started walking towards the sideline saying "coach i broke my arm..." i think he was in shock though. we lost him for the rest of the season :whyme:

Shin splints.........They can really affect your game big time, and lead to stress fractures and long term damage in your legs.

my freshman year we were playing hickman and their was a hole right outside of the field line and a kid got his foot stuck in it from the other team. as he got it stuck one of our middies was running up the side line clearing the ball and got hit out of boun and flew into the kid. his leg twisted and then snapped. it was sick.(nice job kloss)

I was playing goalie 2 years ago in a summer league and i took three rockets to my left hand in a matter of a minute. I ended braking the bone that connects your wrist and your pointer finger. It hurt so much my body was in shock, i could breath for like a minute. I ended up missing the rest of that league and most of freshman football that year cuz i was in a cast. Not fun. Morale of the story: Don't volunteer to play goalie for a game in a summer league!

A broken thumb, shin splints, pulled muscles, sore ankles. As you can tell, I am immune to serious injuries. Okay mabey not but I rarely get injured.

i know a seventh grader who hit a kid so hard that he sprained his neck. 2 ambulances came. Then i know a guy who broke his collar bone after a slash. I also dislocated my thumb when i got it by a shot.

I had the ball and this kid tried to hit me and he lowered his head when he hit me. He fell and wasn't moving on the floor so they called an ambulence and they stoped the game (there was only 5 minutes left anyway). The next day we found out he broke a rib, punctured a lung and broke his C7 vertebrate in his spine. He was in the hospital for a few days because their athletic advisor kept calling ours to keep us informed about what happened.
Two injuries that happened to me was when I got laid out once and couldn't move my jaw much for a day or two. And another one was in 9th grade (two years ago) I tried to hit this huge kid (on varsity) and seperated my shoulder and was out for 2 weeks.

I ruptured a testicle sophomore year. Missed the season, and watched my team throw away our playoff chance while I was in a wheelchair on the sidelines.

I got hit in the balls when I wasnt wearing a cup. :bawling:

you deserve that 100%....it's lacrosse. why wouldnt you wear a cup?

and the worse injury i've had was getting cross checked on my upper arm, right where i have no pads, and got a bruise about the size of a baseball. i'm a pole so usually i'm the one inflicting pain :naughty:

I live in a town that literally surrounds another, very small town that recently started a program last year. Several weeks ago that new team played my club team, which i dont play now since I play with my highschool team. But alot of other kids on my team still do, and some play for this other team. During the game one player on my club team went down for the ground ball, during which a player from this new team went in to take him down. Through bad timing this player's chin ended up above the others head as he came up after the scoop. The result of which was 4 chipped teeth in the back of his mouth, and a concussion. Its comical since he innitially was trying to do the hitting, but got taken out instead. I can only assume he didnt have a mouthguard, so remember to wear yours!

first day of tryouts for varsity. we're doing the man/ball drill, a freshman vs. two juniors. right away the two juniors just sandwich the poor guy, broke his leg in two places. it was pretty gnarly.

I'll never forget being at this one tournament and walking by this field. I turned my head and this girl was like screaming. Her hip was popped out of its socket. It was so gross, I felt so bad for her.

Zach Woods from St. Pauls in baltimore. got cheap shotted, and he fell back on his stick that was standing up and it ruptured his spleen, damaged a kidney, and required intense surgeries. yes, plural, surgerieS. like 4 or 5. thats like worst ever ive seen though. another time they had an ambulance come onto the field cuz a kids leg popped out of the hip and had a right angle just above his knee. pretty gross
