Signature Rules

First off, I'd like to thank our very own moderator, FallIntoIt for doing the majority of the writing.

There are two types of signatures allowed: With images, and those without. The guidelines for signatures of each type are as follows:

With Images
- One Image (no larger than 500px wide by 100px tall, not totaling more than 20kb large)
- In addition, may have one line of regular (size 2) text, or two lines of small (size 1) text.
Text Only
- Maximum 3 lines of regular (size 2) text
- Small text (size 1) may be used in lieu of regular.
- Note: One line regular text = Two lines small text
- If you use all size 1 then you can have up to 6 lines.
- Font sizes above size 2 are not allowed.



Quote tags may not be used in signatures. Quotation marks are allowed, however. Before quote tags, there was punctuation. Embrace it.

Returns count as a line, regardless of whether the entire line was not filled with text.

RULING: Legal - This has the correct number of lines. Two regular size plus two lines of small size (equal to one regular) add up to three lines of regular size.

RULING: Illegal - This has a total of 4 lines of regular sized text since returns count as a line.
