Philly FF!!! Whose Going!?

Ok so I know a couple people from here are going but let's see who exactly is going, where your staying, what you plan on doing while your down there and such.

I'm going with my aunt, a friend from my team, and his aunt and we're staying at the Loews. Gonna hit up Pat's and Gene's then go buy some clothes between games. Gonna try and hit up the KOP Sat Night for the UFC and get some shopping done maybe.

Does anyone know if any like more lacrosse stuff will be going on as far as like companies and such having tents and all that. I know in Baltimore 2 years ago they had the laxfest where a bunch of stores and everything had tents and I bought some sticks real cheap but in philly there wasn't anything like that going on, last year all I really remember seeing is some debeer and brine tents I think.

im going down with a bunch of families from when i played youth league with. i loved lax fest in baltimore i got my kylte and f-15 and blade and vapor there for like 125 all together it was awesome. but i only remeber the gait and brine fan zone too i spent like and hr walkin around the parking lots looking for other companies but ended up partying with the SU and Duke families haha.

im leaving tomorrow night and flying into D.C. to check out the white house and Annapolis,then headin to philly four the final 4.After philly im goin to New York for 2 days. Im mainly checkin out the sights.

I'm a huge JHU fan and the fact that they are not in the FF is devastating enough. But what is even worse is that the JHU parents were some of the nicest people I've ever met. In the last two years my aunt has become friends with some of the families of JHU players and they always have a real nice tailgating party put together. So disappointing.

I am going up friday night driving there, then i will stay in my friends dads hotel that is right in the middle of town. We did the same thing last year it is so great. In between games just skate areounf philly and look at some of the sites.

I just planned on buying mine there...This year has been really uncertain for me though compare to trips in the past...I plan on going to Baggataway, the Pick-up game & hopefully at least one day of tail gating...I don't really no anybody that has one of the big tailgating things going on...The only one I've been to before I couldn't resist because I saw Mikey Powell just chilling in there & I was like "Holy crap that's Mikey Powell".haha.amazing I know.....But ya should be a great weekend (also gotta hit up that X3 at one point)

EDIT: QUESTION FOR ANY LOCALS

My wireless card is showing several networks, including Virowiro, wifiphilly, and then the computer to computer network yale wireless. Is there any way that I would be able to access any of these networks to use internet rather than paying the internet fee?

Philly is completely wireless as far as I know and you can acses the internet for free at popular spots in the downtown area such as the art museam and penns landing but you might not be able to get it free from your hotel room...sorry

TRELAX1201, I talked to someone who went on saturday. They said there was people scalping tickets, but he/she suggested buying them off ticketmaster just incase.

I am going to have to disagree with you there. The parents are fairly nasty when I went to a JHU game. They kept yelling nasty comments on how the other team sucks. A few parents ven tried to pick fights. Of course this is my opinion, so please dont get on me about it.

No I know what you are saying and it's partially true. As with any team I suppose some parents can be a little out of control during the game but from my experience at Hop games it's more alumni that get way to into it rather than players parents. I was also referring to outside of lacrosse they were very friendly. At one of the games last year I was sitting behind some obnoxious jerk who went to Hopkins and was just being rediculous the whole game. But overall I'd say that the JHU parents were very nice.
