how do kids get their name out there?

This is something I've always wondered, how do kids that get recruited by the top schools and are all hyped up, get all this hype? Where does it come from? I mean there's kids on my team that are really good, and I know this other kids are even better, but how do they get their name out there and become one of the most wanted players?

yeah theres alot in the recruiting forum but goin to camps is how alot of kids do and also send tapes and contacting coaches. this usually happens jr year or summer b4 senior year
