They are the Ontario Summer Games - sort of like an Ontario Olympics and multi-sport. Your team has to be a Midget A team to qualify. In fact, I think the Midget A Provincials will be held during the Ontario Summer Games as part of the Games.

http://www.2006ontariosummergames.ca/ The sports page hasn't been updated for quite sometime...

"Lacrosse

The lacrosse competition for the 2006 Ontario Summer Games will encompass 324 participants, including 260 athletes, 48 coaches and 16 officials. There will a box lacrosse event for males and a field lacrosse event for females. The box lacrosse event will require two indoor arenas with lighting suspended high above the playing surface, while the field lacrosse event will require two grass or artificial turf playing fields. The two proposed venues for the box lacrosse competition are Earl Armstrong Arena and Merivale Arena. The proposed venue for the field lacrosse competition is Twin Elm Rugby Park."

how does that work though if the provincials are at the same time??? i thought midget A prvincials are held in waterloo this year, but they seem to be at the same time as ottawa hosts the summer games

Not sure about that. From my understanding, those teams that qualify will play at the Ontario Summer Games - dunno what the rest will do...
