US National Box Lacrosse Tournament - August 25-27, Washington, DC

Gentlemen,

You are cordially invited to play in the First Annual US National Box Lacrosse Tournament. The event will be held from Friday, August 25 - Sunday, August 27, 2006. This date was selected because no large-scale field events seem to be planned for that weekend.

The event will be held in the suburbs of Washington, DC in Laurel. MD at the Garden's Ice House on a full 200' x 85' arena. Each team will be guaranteed 3 games and the fee is $350 per team. The event will be played by NLL rules with severe penalties for fighting and boarding. The is an Open Division tournament and all players MUST be 18 years of age or older. Teams are limited to 3 professional players. Professional players are deemed as being on a 2006 end-of-season NLL roster or a 2006 Canadian Senior A MSL roster.

You've got one open division and are expecting present and past NLL'ers. That pretty well excludes me and all guys like me! I am just hoping this tourney is a success for you, and that you're able to expand to multi-tiered divisions in the future.

The US Box Lacrosse Tournament will be held next weekend, August 25-27 at The Garden's Ice House (http://www.thegardensicehouse.com) in Laurel, MD.

Seven teams from around the country will compete in a championship format tournament. Several current NLL, MLL and other top level players will be competiting in the tournament.
