everyone who has seen the identity helmet, made by gait i'm sure, knows that they are supposed the identity of uva lacrosse. my question, when do you think uva will use these helmets? do you think they will rock them today in their semi-final game against syracuse? or will they wait until they get into the finals (if they do)? your thoughts anyone?

they are not going to wear them (i was told by my friend who is the son of uva's assistant coach)

Well maryland has them too if anybody is watching the Umass game. They arent acutally wearing them in the game, but they showed the MD identity helmet during on TV. It looked sweeet.

ya, im watching ther uva cuse game and im pretty sure that cuse is using some new nike cleats(they arent superbads, they look like blades, but they are not blade 1s or 2s-bucktooth is wearing them)

Yeah.. i was watchin the UMass game and they showed a UMass CPXti faced towards a Maryland identity... looks like a pretty sweet helmet tho. probaby good sight lines. but im not gonna give up on the cpx... shes my baby

i was at the final four game in philly today and went ot the gait tent that they had set up and they had the helmets for UVA and UMD. the guy there said that they are going to be changing the facemask bars a little bit because they are hard to see out of, but they are really cool lookin and are pretty comfortable to wear

i heard that the facemasks are very heavy compared to the rest of the helmet and that it was one of the reasons that uva didn't wear them.
