I have a feeling this will get closed seeing as its a preference thread. But while Im at it, hard mesh keeps a pocket and has a nice crisp release. Soft mesh is really whippy, inconsistent throwing, and becomes illegal very easily. Go with hard

Soft mesh is good for beginners. Its good for catching. But hard mesh is overall better. Its stiffer for shooting and better for passing.
Im in 8th grade and started playing a few months ago. I recently bought a new unstrung Truth and got it strung with soft mesh to perfect my skills. When i get better and play in high school, i'll get hard mesh.

soft mesh ull have more hold and it tends to be whippy ( a good stringer can illimate that) and it isnt the best in wet weather. Hardmesh on the other hand is great in all weather and can easily be strung to your preference. check out www.jimalax.com for more details in their mesh descriptions
