lax career creeping to an end *sniffle*

well i only have about a year left and its already feeling like my life is coming to an end (im a junior, almost a senior). i hate it i really do, i have to go to a community college for 2 years and then transfer to a 4 year, so i wont be able to play for at least 2 years after high school. :bawling: and i dont think that i will be good enuf to play for a college team...(maybe D3 or lower). im still going to try to contribute to the lax community by coaching and reffing and stuff but im really gonna miss playing. is any one else going thru a simalar situation, any suggestions as to wut i could do to continue playing?

club ball? and maybe if u get lucky u could be a walk on i dont know to tell you the truth however im kind of in the same predicament

yea it just sucks cuz for the past 8 years of my life, lacrosse has been all that i eat, drink, sleep and breath. and now that its ending i dont really know were to turn :(

im in the same situation as you my friend. but, ya know what i say, when "that day" comes, i will worry about it, but, for know, i will enjoy myself.

yea im doin the exact same thing. i almost went to bridgton academy for a prep year, but opted to do the cc thing, i guess it will work ou and ill have to play club for 2 yrs

you mean besides high school teams there no where else to play lacrosse. wow that does suck

Thats what I thought coming out of high school, "my lax career was over". I walked on and made my college team and had another 4 years to ball and now I'm playing post-collegiate.

id there no where else to play lacrosse besides highschool and college. Thats ridiculous worst system i ever heard of.

That isn't a bad thing. You can still play lacrosse on a club team. You can still come on this forum. You can still be just as involved in lacrosse as you are now.

so theres no league with difrent levels of play outside of the school teams. someone should try to organize that
