there was a scuffle in his former team about coaching and the new coach. i this is wat happed, but not all the details. the bayhawks got a new coah replacing gary(player coach). so the bayhawks had mikey powell, gary gait, mark million. and i think someone else. i think the new coach wanted to replace powell or gary and then they both quit the team

He didnt leave, he still plays for team USA, but i think he took the summer off for that. Playing MLL and USA is a lot to commit to.

A lot of commitment? Gee, that didn't stop every other member on Team USA to play for the MLL this summer. Only the Powells claimed that they were taking the year off for "Team USA commitments". In other words, this was just a way to stick it to Warrior with an excuse.

Hahaha, very good call Lax101. However, that's pretty immature of the Powell brothers. If they keep protesting against Warrior, their lacrosse careers could be halted a little bit. I mean, Warrior is a pretty powerful company. They did all of the NCAA stuff this year and they do all of the MLL stuff....

Yeah, you'd think they'd choose playing lacrosse over letting Dave Morrow have his little moral victory, but i guess their pride is too valuable to give up.

I'm surprised the Powells haven't started their own company yet. Maybe in a few years they might try something like Gait, maybe not--never know. They could be happy with Brine.
