i have the zircronium it is on of the lightes shafts i have held but it is not very strong mine had alot of dents in if after like 5 weeks of practice

they arent as strong but zirconium is stronger. its kinda light too

As far as grip goes I favor the STX Zirconium over the STX Vanadium. The zirconium has a smoother classic grip whereas the vanadium has sort of power grip.

there was a thread that had a link to all of the shaft weights and strengths. ITs folating around here somewhere.

That thread doesn't have zirconium, nor the vanadium.
The vanadium may even be lighter, and the zirconium is a lot stronger. The Vanadiums grip is more like a powergrip, and the zirconiums is like the kung-fu grip.

if your deciding on which one to buy, get the Zirconium. I have one, and for some stupid reason, my friend enjoys taking his stick and bashing it against mine, and my stick remains dent free! The Z. is a bit heavy though.....
