What equipment company really sponsors Harvard?

looking at pics from any harvard game (take their last one vs. 'cuse for example) they have kids using gait, warrior, stx, whatever...who r they actually sponsored by, y would harvard not use this sponsorship fully and/or why does their sponsor continue to do so?
edit: apologize if this is in the wrong worum, but since it had to do with equipment i put it here.

Perhaps.. no sponser? Or only a partial sponsership, like a highschool may get, which would give players a discount not free stuff

They look like those old Brine Avalanche gloves...Then again, they have the blue Vaportek Liner and the Vaportek logo is visable on the side of the glove. They may be Freaks or Macs, but the palms look different. Limited Edition Macs maybe?

those are limited macs in the ? gloves pic, but i believe the only custom gloves on the team were gait insanities(they had the harvard crest on the cuff)

I am pretty sure that they are sponsored by Gait, but when I was working at the Hofstra v Harvard game, almost no one on the team used the Gait gear.

i think all the other Ivy league teams are sponsored by warrior. Im willing to bet this team is too.

Cornell, Dartmouth, and Yale are all Ivy, but not sponsored by Warrior. And Harvard is sponsored by Gait, just go to the Gait website and click on "Sponsored Teams".

Yea but that doesnt mean they are FULLY sponsored by Gait. Sure they are sponsored by Gait, but they could also be sponsored by Warrior, Brine, and/or STX.

i know that the gloves are all different brands but players use other stuff then what their team is sponsored by. Matt ward for example uses a evo.

thonly custom gear that harvards has is gait gear = not sponserd by warrior, brine, or stx...the players who use mac daddies on the team have stock colors

hey guys sorry to take so long to get back to you guys. Harwards only equipment sponser is nike. They shell out cleats and all that. However they have like partial sponserships with every company and will get you any piece of gear you would like. I guess its the perks of paying 40 grand for the best school in america? I am not to sure about how much equipment you're allowed to get and all that I will find more out when the season gets going. I do know that even for recruited players you do not get a helmet till after fall try outs and you are on the team for sure.

Harvard has such a huge financial endowment that a comprehensive sponsorship probably isn't a major requirement anyway...

i think they do get a discount or the school(since is a private school and all) gave them a spending limit and they could buy w/e gear they wanted. its not unheard of

All i was told from my buddy was he just tells the coach what he wants after he makes the team and he'll get it for him. Sounds pretty nice
