Ok I just got an Evo 2 weeks ago. First of all it is awesome. I put in some 6d and just pounded away. About 2 games later and 6 practices I have a nearly illegal pocket. At my age we don't get called for an overly deep pocket but that won't last for long. How do I fixe my poor little illegal pocket:cry

there are a couple of options: 1. tighten up your sidewlls, often after a new string job, they will work themselves a little loose 2. tighten up your bottom string 3. you can sometimes tighten your shooters and it will pull the pocket back into legal depth, but if you like how your stick throws, i wouldnt recommend it

Try tightening the sidewall strings. You could also wet it then let it dry and it will most likely shrink.

just keep a stick with a legel poket on hand and play with the illegel on till they notice... if they do.
or, if u love huge pockets play goalie lol.

if the bottom has a lot of slack which causes the deep pocket, put a string u can pull tight to pull the bottom to make the pocket legal. this way you can play with a deeper pocket, and just tighten it during every time out, end of quearter, etc.

i usually tighten the bottom strings but thats just because of the way i string my stick.
