What are some good academic and dencent lacrosse teams in California, Florida and the carolinas

Unless you want club lacrosse, there aren't any real lacrosse programs in California.

There's one varsity lacrosse program in Florida: Saint Leo's (Division II). Ask Stinisonfire or st1acrosse99 about the academics (I'm not acquainted with the school's academic standards)

Carolina: There's more than a few. The important thing here is choosing a good academic school where you're confident you can be recruited to play for them (i.e. unless you're one of the top players in CT, have fun trying to get recruited for Duke or UNC).

There's DII Limestone in South Carolina. Traditionally, the team doesn't make any cuts, so if you want to play for a good team without it being overly competitve, it might be a good choice. As for it's academic standards, they're reportedly a little low, which is why they get a lot of talented players who couldn't get in elsewhere.

FSU is supposedly gonna go DI but even if they do they're gonna get raped.

You can go to laxpower, and check the rankings of D2 and D3 and just search for were the colleges are from.

ya NDNU is DII (bay area) and Whittier is DIII (east of L.A.) thats it for california, but we do have some excellent club programs out here

next year fontbonne is gonna be DIII (first nonclub team from missouri)

Whittier is the only California team out there that is not club. In fact, it is the only lacrosse team on the west coast (non-club). I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to be a poet! :chuckle:

Note: My teammate is attending Whittier for Lacrosse, so the poet remark is nothing but a joke. Poets...ha.
