View Full Version : heavy head on a light pole
Are there any bad effects from using a heavy head on a light pole? To be more specific, I was thinking of getting a Wizard and a db803, and I was wondering if i my throwing motion would get all messed up by having such a heavy head on a very light pole.

I use a g-force (heavy head) on a kpro (light pole) and it doesn't affect me at all. Actually i think it helps me on ground balls kind of. It definately doesn't affect my throing or checks or anything and a wizard on an 803 sounds like a good stick to me.

I think it wont really matter that much since the ball is going to be heavier than your head.
You might actually like the top-heaviness, some say you can feel the ball in the pocket better and you get better control.

If you don't like the top heaviness just throw some tape in at the bottom.
would you say its worth the money to go for the db803 over a f15?

yes def the 803 is one of the top d shafts and is worth the price compared to pretty much any other stick on the market.

There is only a 20 dollar difference between the two on QC Lax.
