i just do wall ball (both hands cuz u can really really use ur left on clears alot. good for highschoolers lookin to lock a spot on teams) and i need to do it more, but like footwork such as ladder, agility drills, and sprints n stuff to keep up with cutting or dodging attackmen or middies

Practice poking, but actually practicing your rhythm's important so you can time dig checks and stuff....

First I wall ball of course. Second I lift and run. Third I play as much as I can in summer leagues and camps. Fourth I stick some poles/sticks in the ground and karioke(sp?) back and forth poke checking them. Fifth I watch some pros/college people play on and off the ball during play. Sixth I \ increase my knowledge on the position of defense by watching various players, movies, and of course searching TLF/the web. Seventh I also work on my offense knowledge and skills because to understand Defense better you gotta get into the mind of the offense and see what they do then not only do you have better knowledge of when to slide or jump a pass, but you may even be able to predict where they are going to. Finally I try to talk to my current coaches on how I can improve my skills and if possible talk to future coahes on what they expect from me in the years to come. This works for me so I hope this helps you. good luck :bye:

though it's all been said, to emphasize...
1. condition
2. wall ball
3. leagues/camps
4. call, talk to and work with older and better players...it can b alone but just getting a guy to show u some moves for like 10 mins is super beneficial
