:wtf

yeah so what is the difference between:
1) "rolled" hockey laces
2) "woven" hockey laces
3) regular nylon shooting strings

and how do they affect playing?

any input is appreciated, thanks

Weave provides more hold, thats why you usually see a weave as a U or V.

Wraps are easier to get tight to reduce whip more, and nylons are like wraps but smaller, and sometimes don't dicatate as much on how the ball will release because they are smaller.

yea i use weaves personally (they're best to use on mesh) rolled are found on trads and such.....nylons don't make a diff, at all really

i tend to only use nylon as the last shooter in a stick because it releases quickly

Yeah, i generally go nylon, rolled, and then a u/v weave (sometimes an extra rolled shooter). It seems to work well, and i have yet to find a case where it didnt work.
