i just strung my first head, and it was my new evo pro. i think i did a *decent* job on the mesh, but the shooting string i cant get right. at least i think thats the problem. but anyways im getting too much whip and the ball is sometimes getting caught in the pocket. i was thinking of making the bottom shooting string into like a "U" but im not sure if that would help. any ideas or other tips?
here's the head:

You need to break in that pocket more. Also, the shooting strings look a little too tight.

have the shooting strings start loose at the bottom and start getting tighter near the top

put some slack on the bottom lace and start getting tighter as you go on and have the top lace the tightest

sorry man but i would just buy new mesh and restring it because the stx mesh you have in is hopeless. i've tried it out before and i switched to normal hard mesh from jima as soon as i could. other than that your stringing looks pretty good (you dont have to string the mesh to the topwall at every hole, you can reduce it to the four slightly larger ones)

What brand mesh is that becuase from the looks of it its the new warrior plasticy stuff and if it is then skip a diamond at the top and put in a nylon and 2 shooters with them getting looser as the go down. Good hold, no whip i promise ive had a lot of expirence with the new warrior meshes and evo/revo pros.

haha. yea that stx mesh sucks. i'm pretty sure elastic is in the ingredients. if you push a ball in there or power cradle, it gets so illegal. and it is very hard to get whip out of. its kinda like soft mesh.
anyways, that is a good first stringing. just loosen the bottom shooter like everyone has said.
