what i do with my right hand (I am left handed) is i shoot with my right hand and i pay attention to every little detail. Then when i shoot with my right hand i try and duplicate it exactly how i shoot left handed.

try working on a wall shooting one-handed with your top hand. you do this a couple times and it'll feel more natural to use your top hand more when passing or shooting.

yeah if you go to the wall regularly then devote one day a week to using just your left hand and it will make it a lot stronger. You have probably already seen that on Absolute Powell but just in case.

if you cant shoot lefty, you probly just have poor lefty skills everywhere else too. try using lefty a little more in practice, learn to shoot sidearm lefty, scoop lefty. even though you will probly never shoot sidearm lefty in a game, it will help your overhand lefty too. you might look like you suck at practice but as soon as you need to go lefty, you will feel alot more comfortable.

yes, it is wrong. do what the others said to correct this(play wall ball).

it probably has to do with u not being able to pass lefty, because i guarentee u cant shoot lefty if u cant pass lefty (well). i recomend going to a wall, hold the stick with ur left hand (as if it were on top), and pass one handed against the wall. because when u pass and shoot lefty, the control needs to come from the top hand

take ur stick and go infront of a large mirror, pretend like you are shooting right handed, notice what you do. then do the exact same thing with your left hand

try the mirror drill, first break everything down into sections, see how you throw with your strong hand and swich to your weak hand and do everything exactly the same as your strong hand. use your bottom hand as a lever and push with your top hand.

When i was in middle school I had that some problem but now that im on varsity we constantly work off hand to the point where it doesnt even feel uncomfortable anymore. It just takes alot of practice, get on the wall and shoot alot with your off hand (primarily on the run).

try to analyze your shot . shot one right handed and then try and do the same thing with your left. start by just gettin the motion down adn then try and get ur speed and acuarracy up

ya just imagine that your throwing a baseball or some kind of ball and imitate that motion but really just try to throw/push with you top hand, your bottom hands just a guide

i dunno if ne one mentioned this but a good way to practice throwing is using one hand place it on the shaft where itll throw right with one and then just put your bottom hand on there, millon says somthing like this in his video, your top hand does the work the bottom hand is just there as a guide, throwing with one hand would be harder like weight wise but one u get it just throw your bottom hand there

i'm a lefty so it doesn't really matter to me...but, I used to do the same thing when I shot righty. So, to fix this I used my hips more to take the stress off of my weak hand.

do the mirror drill a bunch of times and then play a ton of wall ball offhand. it helps alot.

I still don't understand why people reply to old topics and repeat what everyone else has already said...
