And RP variations in general. if I buy an edge+ with a pookie installed already, then decide to dye it, will the leathers dye? Will it look like crap? Or should I just suck up the $55 and buy it uninstalled, dye it and send it back?

You can pay them to dye the head and it costs a lot less.... Unless you've got some crazy unique dye in mind i would just let them dye it

well if you dye it one solid color it will look fine ... but why dont you just send it to a place that does stringing and dyeing ..... or just buy the supplies and it do both yourself

I want to do a personal dye, and yea it is unique.
And Rich...I couldn't even be called a novice stringer. I don't think I could string mesh.

oh ok well in that case your best bet would be to do what you suggested yourself order it unstrung , dye it , and then send it back to be strung ... goodluck

Yea...I don't even think I need a custom...I'll probably try my hand at buying it unstrung (well..its strung with mesh) for $67 and just bbuying soe school-colored jimalax mesh and trying a Giant mesh pocket. Thanks fro the help guys.

i wouldnt suggest dying a RP after it is installed. The dye tends t make things more brittle + when you dye leathers it looks like poop. I personally would have the pros at RP do it for you...but that just me.
