ok i have a question. i heard catapulation turns to soft mesh real fast? if i asked jimalax to make it extra hard for me will it last longer hard?
o and instead of buying catapualtion, can i ask them to get hard mesh and make it extra hard for me?

catapultation will not turn to soft mesh fast. the point of cata is so it wont change in the rain.

spray your mesh w/ hairspray and let it dry makes it super hard.

catap. doesnt turn soft quickly so dont worry about that and even still i dont think that jimalax could make a special harder one for one sale

you both are right. I have gotten very very soft cata, yes it was cata not american. I have also gotten the very hard stuff. What I have found is that they tend to give the soft pieces of cata as freebies more often then a piece you actually bought. The colored cata is harder then the white also. So depending on wich piece you get will determine weather it will turn soft right away. You will know almost immediately after picking it up on what kind of cata you got. The hard stuff is hard straight from the beggining and the soft stuff is soft from the moment you pull on it. I can post pictures if you really need them later. In my experience the soft cata was much more shiny.

I've also have had really soft shiny cata and really hard dull cata that came in the same box. It was really weird because they are both completely different meshes and perform differently from each other.

catapultion is sooo stiff, at first it seems likes it is to stiff. but then u learn to like it after it breaks in a little.

My colored cata was insanely hard for the first 3 weeks...then it pretty much turned to soft mesh. Thumbs down on the cata.

Ive heard this a couple times but never had mesh in long enough to get soft enough for me to have to do this.. anyways, just wondering how long it will stay hard for again.. like does it just completely repeat the cycle of breaking in or does it break in faster?

What about the semi-hard mesh? Will it turn soft relatively quick like the catapultion or stay semi-hard?

For all of you who are saying that it does not turn soft quickly that is completely false. If you hand stretch catapultion it will become pretty soft. After a session of wallball it will also become very soft but will basically never fray or break on you. Also there aren't really that major of whip problems with the soft cata.
