I've seen people shooot underhand shots where they get the ball to barely skim the ground. ive been practicing and practicing but i cant get the shot without the ball falling out of my head early and just bouncing a couple feet. can anyone describe to me the process of the underhand shot?

No one can describe a shot to you, and the same thing you talk about has happened to the best of us at one time. Just keep practicing. It may be the way your shooting. Shoot one in slow motion and watch carefully for when the ball falls out, and fix what your doing wrong. =P

yea, i've practiced, you gotta just work at it, i can't explain it for you. i play hockey, maybe the motion helps. after a while you'll figure it out, the hardest one is keeping it off the ground by 6 inches or so. i can use it for passes and rising shots, but not low shots. oh, one piece of advise, snap your wrists, i thin k it helps.

wat i suggest is just down hang it down low for too long or else itl gall out but wen ur gonna shoot just bring it down real quick and uncork like a golfer do it like a golf swing, also maybe whip mite be a problem but idk

just make your stick hold....put some Vs or you could round out the V to make look more like a U and then when you drop your stick then it will chill there but you have to be quick....low to low shot sucks low to high is good bc goalie thinks your gon low.

or elevator

elevator= low to high. Yea u really don't wanna keep ur underhand shot low, too predictable. Uhhh also when u're windin up u should never drop the ball b/c its not supposed to b a long drawn out thing. Its has to b quick and percise. Otherwise 1 u can drop the ball 2 the goalie sees u winding up and 3 a defender can nail u w/ a trail check which would suck.

for more speed try and twist at ur waist, that'll add a good 5 mph make sure u lean into the shot as well that'll add some speed. But just b/c u're shooting fast doesn't mean its a good shot remember that. Practice this shot at first w/ the rite steps and such but don't try and shoot hard. Just call out corners and try and hit them. Accuracy is key to a shot, speed just helps.

Underhand shot isn't really underhand, its more like you have the stick pointing down 45 degrees.

its called a worm-burner that hes talkin about, can be a nice unexpected shot if u do it right and keep it on the ground and keep it accurate
