i was thinking of dyeing my bionic like tequila sunrise except a royal blue to evening blue fade splatter and a black main color.
I've heard of blues turning out purple. How can i prevent this, should i get more than one packet?

well to prevent the blue from going to purple, dont keep it in as long. just be carefully watching the head while it is dyeing and periodically take it out to see if u think it is dark enough yet

dye the head several times. this will enforce the blue color and keep it from fading into purple.

I saw someone else say to use one packet of navy blue and one packet of black, to avoid the purple color........wouldn't that make the color look too black though?:omg :wtf

its never gonna look to black. i used 2 packets of black dye, beucase you need that black to get over the blue... and so you need as dark of a black as you can make it.

I soaked my goalie head over night in dark blue thinking it would be a more true color, and now its black and orange (my old one, anyway) instead of blue and orange.

OK? I think you missed my point? What I was trying to say is to avoid getting a "purple" color when dying a head Navy Blue, I was told to use one pack of N. blue and one pack of black!
Wouldn't the black turn the whole mixture a black color, was my question? This would solve the purple problem, but now you would have black and not blue.....no?:banghead :wtf:bye

Again, this would solve your purple problem, but it seems to me that the longer you leave a head in navy blue....the darker the head gets until it basically turns black......This has been my experience!:agree
