Beginner Gear! (Post Your Beginner SetUp)

What is the best gear for beginners? I have an av8 and brine gloves.Then I got a Cascade helmet for $30. I think it's fine equipment for a beginner, what about you? Does anyone have suggestions? :idea:

my reccomendation for any beginner:
helmet: whatever you can get cheap, I'd recommend a C2
gloves: warrior hypnos
stick: av8 on al6000 or whatever shaft you can get cheap
pads: brine avalanche shoulder pads/old de beer arm pads

basically I'd get whatever you can find that's cheap though, and you might want to have a friend who's played for longer restring your head as well

Head/Shaft: Gait Icon, great head, excellent strength to weight ration, and can be pinched once you improve to be a really nice head. Also, while the shaft is no mohawk, it will last you a while I guess, unless you are on Varsity, higher, or just very violent.
Gloves: Hypnos are pretty nice for the price nice, as well as Brine Spartans.
Arms: I reccomend anything that is not a solid piece, but maybe has several flex points, just for comfort, protection, and mobility, it costs slightly more, but is really worth it in my opinion.
Shoulders: Brine matrix's are not bad for the price, protection wise, they don't really compare to say, the hitmans, but again, unless you are at a high level of playing, or take a beating on the field, these are great.
Finally, the helmet. As was previously stated, a Cascade C2 or CLH2 is a great begginer helmet. Don't go buy a CPro, or CPX as a begginer, because if you don't stick with it, you hae just spent over 150 dollars as opposed to 100, or less.

oh boy....its hard to remember exactly what I stated with.

I remember my first stick as an STX Laser Hi-Wall and I got it at MC SPORTS in Ohio, I still remember my grand father taking me to buy it and how excited I was. The bucket helmet, and some old brine gloves that i basically didnt even need arm pads because they were so big on me hhaahah.

That was pre- middle school, I would later move on up to the STX Sniper, which was HUGE...atleast in my area.

And I also moved up to the Cascade in middle school, along with some brine L 27's, and my first non-stock / aluminum shaft ...the original warrior C405 Kryptolyte.

I'm a definite beginner. Here's what I'm Rockin'. It's all warrior but the helmet...scored one of them package deals.

Head: Warrior Warpath ----> I Like it...took a while to break in, but now that it is, it's pretty sweet...thinking about pinching it now that I've got this catching thing down pretty good.
Shaft: Warrior Alloy 6000 ----> I don't know if it's good or bad, considering it's my first shaft
Gloves: Warrior Tempo ----> Again, I don't know better, but I get the feeling I'ma need new ones soon, considering these don't look durable. But, they're protective and comfortable, so I like 'em.
Arm Pads: Warrior Adrenaline 6.0 ----> These I don't like. Yeah, they work, but I find 'em really uncomfortable.
Shoulder Pads: Warrior Adrenaline 6.0 ----> LLight and comfortable, but not too protective...they protect my shoulders...just my shoulders. Nothing else. But I can't do much about it until I get more cash.
Helmet: Cascade CLH2 ----> Perhaps my favorite part of my lacrosse setup. This thing is comfy, protective, and just plain awesome.
