ok guys ive been reading alot of questions and opinions on the Mohawk heads, i ordered mine a few days back from a guy at my club that owens the Mach1(backup for defense) and the Thunder heads by mohawk (uses for Defense). And when i picked up the long pole with the Thunder head on it, i tell you i fell in love, the head was amazingly light and yet strong enough to stand up in defense. WHen i saw his other stick the Mach1 i knew i had to order one. So i did and here is my review for all of you.
Straight from the states to my harrow shaft, as soon as i put it on the sticks and went for a throw i must say it was perfect straight away it was throwing perefect no whip or anything absolute perfection.
The Head
Pinch
an excellent pinch on this head, its perfect for throwing and catching in attack, the sidewalls are really well positioned to stop ball rattle and to stop the ball flying out from any vicious checks. The throat is quite pinched at about 3 inches across and widens out towards the scoop at about 7 inches. WHich gives a great release for the ball, nice and smooth.
Pinch 7/10

Stiffness
a little bendy at times but other than that it is perfect stiffness, it gives a little when giving poke checks, but what heads dont a little, the head is perfect for me and since its a box head it is really quite strong. Its no wizard or X2 but id say if a Revo and an X2 had a baby this would be close to the result lol
Stiffness 8/10
Scoop
The scoop on this babey is great its half way between the x2 and a more pinched head so it lets you pick up ground balls at almost any angle. Not to mention indian pick ups which are easy as pie on this stick becasuse it is so light and easy to move around with. THe scoop takes maybe 5 groundballs to get used to but other than that id say its childs play to pick up a ground ball with this head.
Scoop 8.5/10

Looks
oh man does this head look gret or what with the awesome lightning bolts on the side and the wiked cool looking throat, the only place where i can see the logo of mohawk is on the throat which is cool because you dont want to be a label junkey lol. Even on the bottom of the scoop there are wiked cool looking lightning bolts.
Looks 9/10

Weight
this head i msut say is close to perfect weight for me, its far lighter than the wizard or x2 but has enoug wait on it so you can feel the ball alot and it balances out the Harrow pole really quite well. this affects the stiffness i gues because there is more plastic but you hardley feel it when moving anyway.
Weight 8/10
Stringing
REally great strining it doesnt offer as many side wall holes as gait products do but it has enough to get traditional and custom pockets in it with ease. The spacing of the sidewall holes is great and gives you alot of freedom with what you want to do with the head. On the throat there is some nifty plastic that juts out from under the head that gives you an extra two bottom hole or side holes to work with, i have found this really quite good for tying of bottom wall strings or sidewall strings if you dont like to cut them.
Strining 8/10

OVerall
an amazing head with great features nothing bad to say about this head apart from the throat, on harrow shafts they are abit to thick for the throat but they fit just needs to be worked in a little but other than that an amazing head and i recomned it to anyone
Overall 9/10
The Shaft
Great shaft i picked it up 3 or 4 years ago when Brian SIllcot came down to AUs with The powell brothers and Mike Watson. I think i was one of the first to own one in Australia but anway.
Grip
Really good grip because of the paint type thing, bare handed or through gloves you can feel the grip and where you are on the shaft at any time. The shaft is painted with lines to indicate where to hold your hands also so thats anothher plus. THe shaft however needs a butt end but this is just my opinion its abit to short for my liking and i you cant feel the end of the stick to well if you dont have anything there.
THe paint also is abit annoying at times because it chips and scratches alot but other than that the grip is really quite amazing.
GRip 8/10

Strength
Really good strenth since i have it for nearly 3 or fours years now i can say that it has snapped poles in its wake but it hanst broken, cracked or anything . really good strength but i have seen some poles snapped from quite vicious checks so beware.
Strength 7/10

the pole comes in so many colours so team colouring isnt an issue
Overall this pole is a great stick, but be prepared to be annoyed by the paint chipping but other than that its a great pole
overall 8/10
This set up is made esepecially the head i would recomend it to anyone but its about $145 australian so im its quite middle prirce ranged for such a good head
