personalized balls?

I have a pretty big backyard in suburban long island, but i am constantly losing balls, and i am led to beleive my neighbors are keeping them hostage.. is there a company that could print my name, or last name on lacrosse balls?

The only problem with sharpie is that it rubs off fairly quickly. Use lettering from a hardware store, or use only a certain color, or dye them with your initials on them.

i just use a fine tip sharpie, and go over it a few times each time it dries. the ball is like nearly a squib but my name is still on it.

We've dyed a few balls while dying sticks. Get some letter stickers and put on whatever you want. We dyed a white ball pink, with the word "Ball" on it. Looks good, although the dye has faded a bit.

If you're neighbors are keeping them hostage, what makes you think having your name on them will make them give the balls back? Unless you neighbors play lacrosse too?

Actually a regular blue pen stayed on longer on mine than a sharpie marker.

brand your name(or initals) into the ball,get a clothes hanger and bend letters into it, then heat it up and push it into the ball.

just dye the ball with your initials/name/whatever you want. you could use the little kid letter stickers, but im guessing that this will probably do little to nothing to stop your neighbors from taking them.

just use a stencil and spray paint over the letters. you could right whatever you want on there.

just get a sharpie and write ur initials and let them dry. its that simple. if they start to fade, then simily redo it.

get little metal letter stams from a hardware store (our shop teacher had them, there just mettal rods with the letter printed on the bottom) heat those bad boys up and press them into ur ball. And there you have it, instant initials/name printed in a ball that will not come off unless ur neighbors are willing to cut a chunk out of the ball in which case i doubt u want it back anyway.

I right my last name with a sharpie on each side of the ball so no one tries to steal them. The only problem is that the Sharpie marker rubs off on the inside of your sidewall if it hits there.

not the best idea, one of my neighbors, my brother put a ball in his windshield. my brother hit cross bar.. and plop. the others we're ruined their fences.

i have my net set up where if i miss the top corner, the ball goes into my neighbors yard. i lose like five balls a day in their yard, and a couple in their pool. they throw every single one back over.
It helps to have a neighbor who played lax in high school :grin:

but then if you have a personalize ball and it broke through the window then your neighbors would know that you did it

same here i am like the only one in my neighborhood except one guy but he plays d3. i have the exact same problem i broke a couple fence posts so my neighber being the jerk that he is starts to videotape me when i start shooting to show how reckless i am or something. he also steals my balls i swear he has taken like 15. he has taught his dog to pick them up and bring them to him.

I'm posetive there's a place that does them. My team just sold balls with our logo printed on them. If your willing to order from somewhere I could find out where they got them from.
