i guess that this is a problem that i have with all of my customs, the leathers arent straight. i searched and only became more confused on what to do.please help

did you stretch them thoroughly before you strung the pocket?

yeah i did. do you have them REALLY tight when you string them? like do you put the ball in there and then just yank the leathers down?

string the channel first put a ball and knife in the string the sides and keep the leathers realatively(sp) tight and give the knots around the leathers some slack (i.e. keep them a little loose not alot though)

i think you may have tied the knots to tight and have the leathers to loos. like above, do the channel first then the sides with the ball and knife trick.

And the sloppyness does too... but it isn't him.



Anyway.


String it with some slack on the knots... and then pull the leather through the knot.

went you put the leathers on make sure they are tighter than you want the pocket, even if you already streched them. Just beat the pocket in afterwards...It's not that hard.
