i think you are talking about elastomer that black stuff on the duece and on that goalie head. i think its called the guardian or something

I am pretty sure that is what he means. Think about it. Elasto-meter? Sounds like exactly what you DON'T want in a goalie stick, plus it just sounds retarted.
And about the rubber stuff on STX heads, its pretty dumb. All it is really good for its taking it off the head and making it lighter.
