more hold out of 10d

i got amazing hold from the trad. pockets i put in my head a little while, but i got rid of them because of how much upkeep they need. i love the release of 10d, but the hold is not cool. is there any possible way to get more hold out of my 10d? i have no idea what could work, but i figured it couldnt hurt to ask.

I've found that one or two "u" or "v" shooters help. also deeping in the pocket and raising it up in the stick helps. would you mind posting any pics of you current stringing? it would make helping you quite a bit easier.

yea pics would help us help you.
but from what i can tell, either moving your pocket higher in the head, and/or making the pocket itself deeper would help.. a "u" shooter would definitely help, i havent had much luck getting lots more hold with a "v" (1 diamond at top) but thats also cause i never use them.. Try and post some pics though

realize the sidewalls are a little awkward, but there are a bunch of tweaks to keep it rolling out and legal. maybe i should change the sidewalls or something? sorry for taking so long with pics

Break in a nice mid pocket, and it should have decent hold a v will help too

v strings do not increase hold. v strings do not really do anything for the pocket exept maybe make the release smoother. u strings increase hold

If you want some great hold move the pocket up and put two straight and one U. Keep the ball right on the shooters but you are gonna have whip.

ahh i like lower pockets though, and i cant get more hold without getting whip, can i? is a higher pocket the only way to get more hold?

for more hold im going to suggest a deep pocket. Also i would recommend restringing your stick entirely, and allowing yourself a higher pocket, you dont need a high pocket, im just saying you really dont have a pocket, you basically have a stretched out spot where the ball sits.
