the perfect mesh pocket, THE CRAZY WAY, THIS WILL WORK FOR YOU

Over the years i have used every style of sidewall strung every way. i developed a spin off of interlocking sidewalls that provides a pocket exactly where you need it when you need it. You can string this pocket to throw with as much whip or as little whip as you may like. it is hard to string this style and create lip but it is possible. I will explain this method better as i post the pictures.

You interlock the mesh really tight toward the top of the head using only one diamond so that a channel is createdincreasing hold and accuracy

Instead of tieing the last knot off at the bottom sidewall hole you tie it off thru the outside bottom string hole. this knot (as pictured) keeps the mesh tight so a crease is formed in thepocket to increase hold.

By tiieing the mesh thru the bottom stringing whole and doing the bottom stringin a u weaved in between the diamond it allows you to have all the posotives of haveing a low pocket(ie. one handed cradling)without sacrificing the awesome hold of a mid/high pocket

thats how iv been stringing my sticks for years....not exactly but the same concept...i do the interlock but instead of the normal i make the knot through the mesh hold and for the first 6 holes i do that which creates a pocket thats channeled and tight then in the last few holes i may do a normal and interlock in one depening on how i want it to shoot. If i make it too tight it will just get caught up in the mesh.

Depending on what your pics look like, I was about to post a tut for a pocket almost the same as that, but I took it a step further :) I might post mine depending on whether or not your pocket looks like mine.

as i posted earlier this pocket can be manipulated to throw exactly how you watn, whip,lip,high,low it can do it all. this thread was just to show you my method and if i get enough feedback i am ready to do a full tutorial. if you are interested in any pistures at any angle just post in this thread and i will do my best. Wouldnt that depend on how broken in your mesh is? I have white hard mesh that is insanely broken in, and where i stick the ball a pocket will form.

no this is different. the channel acts not only as a tract for the ball but adds additional hold. you fake and the ball rolls up and and stay in the channnel yet doesnt whip when you throw. try it for yourself and see how you like it

no, this is not a love pocket it has different shooters, the channel is not deep, it doesnt have to have whip, the whole thing is interlocking and the top is done different and there are more but you get the gist

i use that method to get the channel in my 10d eclipse. i also did it by accident on my bionic once, and i had so much hold that if i did a baseball swing with the ball in the channel, it would not come out. very customizable though as you stated.

i am a terrible procrastiator andi keep promising a tut and havent delivered. im promising a tut by tomorrow on an evo pro. just a warning for those of you who are wondering what kinda materials you need. im telling you need one piece of brand new hard mesh or soft mesh unstretched still n a strip. and a lot of sidewall.
