I never got my number on my high school team. It was ridiculous. 2 years in a row, the person in charge of numbers forgot to call me and I got stuck with 36. 36 sucks! Then I had two different numbers this year, 9 for away and 36 for home. Oh yeah, and the people that got my number the second 2 years were grades below me. But at least I got it in middle school and on Team Utah. I like 42. 9 is all right, but I only had it for one game because they shipped our jerseys late. Jerks.

what a number... mine for football for two years straight but unfortunately our lacrosse jerseys dont go that high. try ask your coach to send the jersey back for a new one with the correct number

my freshman year i was bestowed the great honor of wearing 22 after losing a coin toss w/ our goalie for #1, it was an honor cuz it was my coach's number in college and i need special permission from him and i felt really special wearing it. then last year we wore different jerseys and there was no 22 i was pissed and had to wear 13, but this year the varsity jerseys had 22 and i paid a senior 5 bucks to let me have it, best 5 bucks i've ever spent, i love this number

I've been 56 forever + a day, but it's a mix, everyone got to pick jersey numbers before they were actually even made, I asked for 56 (and no one on any team I have ever played for has actually asked for 56) and when the jerseys finally came in I got 57, there was no 56...I'm one of those superstitious goalies and I don't think anything could be more lucky than a lucky a number, so not having it super sucks

I've got the best game save percentage of all of the goalies on the team (we're carrying five) so I'll venture to say yes

I've had 12 ever since I started (4 years)
It's my favorite cause I've scored like 50 goals with that number. One time I forgot my jersey at home for a game and had to wear an extra one which was number 11 and didnt score the whole game and broke my finger, so I never use a different jersey other than 12.

they were all freshly ordered...they put in the # everyone requested and somehow instead of submitting 56 they submitted 57 and therefore I got 57 instead for 56
