If you are about to lose one of the mesh holes that your sidewall is looped through use a zap strap (cable tie - one of those little pastic things to hold cords together with). Just attach it from the sidewall to the next mesh loop in and adjust the tightness (as desired) and snip off - quick simple and cheap. If it is one of the other mesh holes no worries shouldn't bother unless it is like 6 D or some other large gauge.

There really isn't a sure way to fix it. But whatever you do DON'T BURN IT TOGETHER. It makes the mesh weaker.

Just tie it together w/ crosslace. Thats what I did and there is no noticible difference.

if the mesh is starting to rip, i think its time to replace it. buy a new piece of Jimalax mesh and string it in there. maybe even a whole kit. i've had tons of friends who have tried to fixed ripped mesh, and eventually it comes un-done or rips in another spot. the best solution is to take it out and replace it.
