The best thing to do is Wall Ball. Jumping rope aslo is good as nemesis said. Play as much as possilbe b it at camps, friends houses, or in summer leagues. The more you play the better you will get.
Ive never tried the baseball thing but i wanted to go to a batting cage and try although id probably get into some trouble it would b funny to see the peoples faces. Idk if it would wrok because most machines pitch in the same spot unless you had one where you could aim it or it could pitch curves and other breaking pitches(that would b so good for training)

it just seems like it wouldnt work. Because when those pitching machines pitch it gives u like 2 seconds to recover so i dont see how u could recover fast enough for each shot.

have the friend moving it around put the balls in, that way there is enough time in between

1 minor side note, baseballs dont bounce like lax balls. you might screw yourself by learning only how a baseball bounces. and maybe this is just bad memories from my childhood, but dont baseballs hurt A LOT more that lax balls? i havent been pegged with one in a while so i dont remember it on the pain scale.
but you could just turn the speed down and work on bounce shots and stuff like that where its just about seeing and reacting.

i think lax balls hurt more, thier solid rubber
have people take shots on you and juggle and PLAY PING PONG!
Ping pong helps out A LOT for goalies

i saw one of the eith grade coaches doing this. You need a wall that you can bounce a lacrosse ball against. The goalie faces the wall fully equiped and the other player stands behind him. the player behind the goalie throws the ball against the wall so that the goalie can not see him, and the goalie has to try to save it,
it helps a lot because u work on ur instant reflexes when u cant even see the ball

yeah montclair, that is what my coaches do to me and its great tool in learning how to see the ball and react. Another good drill to do is just what Tillman Johnson told me to do. Get your stick, gloves and a ball go to a wall and throw the ball as hard as you can against the wall and work on your technique on saves.

I started playin ping pong and sometimes ill hit a high bouncer and they will have a chance to spike it ( dont know if theres a different term for ping pong but you know what i mean ) and ill hit it back sometimes and they will b like :OMG :WTF how the hell did he do that. It helps a lot with the hand eye cordination and reflexes. Plus its really fun

That is a great drill, it helps so much just because you cant see where the ball is coming from so you have to react as fast as you can and use all the knowlage you have ever learned as a goalie. You have to step and stop it instinctivly and improves your reflexes a lot.

This one i do the most because its the easiest one to do, you dont need anyone else and can do it by yourself.
I dont remember if this has been said but i would try jumping rope, and the dot drill: the dot drill is where you have a mat or grass with 5 dots painted on like this
(the #'s represent the mat and the 0's are the dotss)
0###0
##0##
0###0
and what you do is jump from one dot to another in any order and see how many you can do in one or two minutes. You can jump using one or two feet. It helps with quickness.
Also run and lift weights to become a beast. I also heard that swimming laps was great too for working you whole body.
Another thing that can help you, but i wouldnt consider training at all. Is playing video games every now and then. It has been proven to help out with eye hand cordination. The first person shooters like Halo and games like that. It isnt physical at all though so i wouldnt do it too much but it does help a little.
EDIT: the dot drill didnt look right because it didnt space it so ihad to put the #'s inbetween
